BILLET BADGES’ RETURN POLICY
Due to the nature of custom badge production, all orders are NON-REFUNDABLE once they have been machined. Please be sure the details of your request are correct before authorizing production. If an order is cancelled prior to the design process, a refund may be requested minus the 3% credit card processing fee. If a refund is requested after the design process, the design fee and the 3% credit card processing fee will be deducted from the refund. Debit card transactions cannot be refunded back to original payment method. A refund check must be issued for all debit cards (pin) transactions. Please be sure the details of your request are correct before authorizing production.
Any irregular or blemished badge(s) purchased from our store are not covered by warranty. Those badge(s) are sold "as is" only.
All other badges are covered by a (1) year warranty.
During the (1) year warranty period, the customer may contact us to return his/her order to have the badge(s) refinished/repainted/re-taped free of charge. No color changes may be made to the order. If the customer wishes to change the finish and/or color of his/her badge, he/she will be charged for the changes.
If the warranty time has lapsed, there is a small fee for refinishing, repainting, and re-taping.
Please do not return any badges/parts to us for warranty or non-warranty repair/refinishing without first contacting us at info@billetbadges.com for return authorization.
For all warranty issues, please notify us at info@billetbadges.com. Be sure to include your customer information and photos of the issue in question. Please do not return your badges to us for warranty repair/refinishing or maintenance repair/refinishing until we ask you to do so. If an emblem requires bending, the customer is responsible to inform our company of such need and include a bend template or stock part to ensure the contour of the bend is accurate. This also applies to badges that will be relocated from their original intended location. If original badge was drilled and tapped for hardware and new hole locations are required, this information must be communicated to Billet Badges and a new hole template must be provided. Please note, some emblems cannot have new hole locations tapped on the backside due to their original machined state.
Once we have received and reviewed your warranty repair request, if your badge(s) qualify for warranty repair/refinishing, we will send a USPS return mailing label to USA customers or a UPS return mailing label to international customers. If you decide not to use the return mailing label supplied by us, you will be responsible for the shipping charges.
Any badges returned to Billet Badges, Inc without contacting us first will be considered abandoned by the customer and will be immediately sent to recycling without customer notification. Billet Badges, Inc will not be responsible for repair or replacement of badges/parts sent to us without authorization.
LIABILITY DISCLAIMER
This Product is intended for decorative use only. Billet Badges, Inc. (the “Company”) cannot be held liable if the product is used in conjunction with any vehicle on U.S. roads or highways or in any other jurisdiction where the Product would not meet safety standards, as specified by that jurisdiction. The person, individual or entity that purchases or installs or uses the Product in a vehicle, (the “Customer” or “you”) in any situation, assumes any liability arising from any negligent, grossly negligent, reckless, willful or wanton use of the Product in a manner not explicitly ascribed or condoned by the Company. The Company cannot be held liable by the Customer or any third party for damage, injury or death caused by the Product or the Customer’s vehicle if the Product is abused by the Customer and not used for intended or approved purposes listed by the Company. This Product is not endorsed by the manufacturer of your vehicle and there is no affiliation between the Company and the manufacturer of your vehicle. Installation of the Product in your vehicle or use of the Product with your vehicle may limit or void any and all rights under any warranty provided by the manufacturer of your vehicle. Upon your installation of the product you assume all responsibility related to any limitation or nullification of the manufacturer or dealer warranty. The Company accepts no responsibility for the limitation or nullification of any warranty. Any warranty not provided herein, and any remedy which, but for this provision, might arise by implication or operation of law, is hereby excluded and disclaimed. The implied warranties of merchantability and of fitness for any particular purpose herein are expressly disclaimed by the Company. The Company has no input or control regarding the use and or abuse of the Product by the customer. The Company makes no representations or warranties regarding the performance or safety of the Product after it is installed by the Customer. Under no circumstances shall the Company be liable to Customer or other third parties for any damage to the Customer’s vehicle or the loss of use of the Customer’s vehicle or for personal injuries suffered by any individual, or for any incidental, special or consequential damages, whether arising out of negligence, breach of warranty, breach of contract, or otherwise. The Company’s liability for any damages, loss and/or claims associated with the Product shall be limited to the price of the Product paid by the Customer. The Customer hereby releases the Company from all liability, claims and damages associated with the Product, with the sole exception of the Company’s liability for the refund of the purchase price of the Product to the Customer in the event that a court of competent jurisdiction determines the Customer suffered damages directly resulting from the malfunction of the Product.
PRODUCTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Custom badges take approximately 12-18 weeks for production. This time frame is an APPROXIMATION ONLY. Badges may take less time or more time to produce depending on the complexity of the design and our current work load. This time frame includes artwork, milling, polishing, and painting. As soon as your preliminary artwork is complete, you will receive an email for your approval. Once we have your approval, your badges will go to engineering pre-production programming. Once the pre-production programming is complete, you will receive a second rendering for approval. This will be a 3D CAD file. Once you confirm there are no further changes to be made, your order will be sent to the mill for production.
**If you have selected a previously produced design from our gallery and no changes have been made, you will not receive a rendering prior to production.**

After your order is complete and has passed inspection, it will be prepared for shipment. When ready for shipment, you will receive a tracking number from USPS. You are welcome to check in with us regarding your order at any time. However, if your design does not require a rendering, the next communication you receive will be your tracking number from USPS. Once your order is ready to ship we will create the USPS shipping label and enter your email so you should receive a notification from USPS that your order is going to be shipped. Your order will be shipped USPS Priority mail with Signature Required.
